As the South West's favourite, Tribute is proud to sponsor sports across our region. Our approach is to support local sports and local teams.

Tribute - The Official beer of South West Rugby

Tribute is the main sponsor for 14 South West Leagues. The sponsorship encompasses 157 rugby teams competing in leagues level six and below, playing in Cornwall, Devon and Somerset, and makes Tribute the official beer of South West rugby.

We support the clubs at grass roots level by supplying funding to the Constituent Bodies of Cornwall, Devon and Somerset and also by providing rugby balls, drinking bottles and other equipment to the teams.

Tribute - The official beer of Cornish Gig racing

Gig racing is a growing sport in our region and St Austell Brewery is proud to sponsor the Cornish Pilot Gig Association. Throughout the year over 50 gig clubs from the Bristol Channel to Weymouth, train and compete to be the champions at this arduous and sociable sport.

Our Head Brewer, Roger Ryman is keen gig rower and in May 2007, he set out with an intreprid crew of rowers from the Charlestown Gig club to complete a record-breaking circumnavigation of the Cornwall in a gig.

Each year, a highlight of the gig rowing season is the Tribute Series of races which take place off the Cornish coast in June and July.
